Managing Z39.50 sets

Portfolio allows you to define custom Z39.50 sets for use with Z39.50 federated search targets. When you define a Z39.50 search target, you will specify which Z39.50 set to use. A Z39.50 set includes one or more qualifiers that specify how to interpret data returned from a Z39.50 federated search target. You can add, edit, or delete any Z39.50 set.

Each qualifier in a Z39.50 set can address subject, series, uniform title, ISSN, title, ISBN, author, notes, keyword, or LCCN data. You can add or edit any qualifiers within a Z39.50 set to specify the completeness, position, relation, structure, truncation, and use attributes for that qualifier. You can also delete any qualifiers.
